Watch-Spotting: The Rolex watches of Goldfinger

We’ve been dodging the heat and humidity of UAE summer this year by grabbing our favorite spot on the sofa, and watching all manner of TV shows and movies. Most recently we fed our trusty Blu-ray player a copy of 1964’s Goldfinger – one of our favorite James Bond films. The enhanced resolution and colors gave us full sight of two very cool Rolex watches – the Rolex Submariner 6538 and Rolex GMT Master 6542.

Breaking: Piece unique Greubel Forsey Invention Piece 1 stolen!

Upsetting news this evening. We’ve just found out that a piece unique Greubel Forsey Invention Piece 1 has been stolen. The watch belongs to well known collector @indohorology (on Instagram) and is said to be the only Invention Piece 1 to feature a polished bezel. Please share the original Instagram post and/or this alert to help with the search for this piece.

Vacheron Constantin adds brown dials to new Overseas collection

Despite the fact that the third generation Overseas collection hasn’t actually hit retail channels as yet, Vacheron Constantin has just announced a new dial color option – brown. This dial color will be offered on the world time, chronograph, date and small model (ladies) Overseas references.

We reckon the Chronograph reference really shows off that gorgeous brown dial.
