Omega Globemaster debuts at BaselWorld

Not content with just unleashing new ceramic Speedmaster models at BaselWorld 2015, Omega has now introduced the Globemaster. The watch features time and date complications only but, when it hits the market, it will be one of Omega’s most technically advanced watches, and the brand’s first ‘Master Chronometer’ timepiece.

Ulysse Nardin’s BaselWorld 2015 Novelties

Over the course of its history, Ulysse Nardin has produced many bold, unique and innovative timepieces. The company has long been associated with pocket watches and marine chronometers, the latter of which were rumored to be used by more than 50 of the world’s navies during the 19th century.

The Le Locle-based brand has constantly made its mark on the world of horology and, today, produces everything from time only watches to stunning examples of haute horology. We had heard several rumors about Ulysse Nardin’s new for 2015 timepieces, and we’re happy to report that the company more than met our expectations at BaselWorld 2015.

Omega introduces the White Side of the Moon at BaselWorld 2015

BaselWorld 2013 was the stage that Omega chose to reveal its ceramic Dark Side of the Moon (DSOTM). The following year, at BaselWorld 2014, the brand then introduced the Grey Side of the Moon (GSOTM), and now, the Biel/Bienne-based brand has unveiled the White Side of the Moon (WSOTM).

We reckon Omega is setting a precedent - a new ceramic Speedmaster at every BaselWorld.
