Gallery: Omega’s Vintage lady’s watch adverts

We’re suckers for vintage watches and, believe it or not, have more than a passing interest in the old-school advertisements that brand’s relied on in those days. In fact, if we were to win the lottery, a portion of the winnings would be dedicated to acquiring a select few vintage adverts to adorn the ‘watch room’. Why? Vintage watch adverts and other such memorabilia is cool, and we relish the opportunity to decorate a room with them – it’s as simple as that.

They don't make them like this anymore.

They don’t make them like this anymore.

We’re sure we’re not alone in this particular fascination either because a quick scan of eBay shows that mint vintage watch adverts can fetch a pretty penny. Luckily, no money had to exchange hands for the vintage advertisements you see above and below – these pieces of memorabilia came directly from Omega. What you see here are adverts that Omega ran to promote its collection of lady’s watches from the early 20th century, right up to the 1970s.

A few of the advertisements aren’t in English but it doesn’t matter, you can just drink in the artwork and layout. We know we did. Enjoy!
