Zenith launches the El Primero Range Rover Special Edition

Earlier this year Zenith launched watches to celebrate Cohiba’s 50th anniversary (Cuban cigar brand), and prior to that, it partnered with The Rolling Stones, the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association, Hero Cup, the Tour Auto and many other events and brands. Partnerships are obviously a big focus for the brand, and now Zenith has taken things a step further by announcing a watch to kickoff its partnership with Land Rover.

A. Lange & Söhne introduces Richard Lange ‘Pour le Mérite’ with white gold case and black dial

Rejoice A. Lange & Söhne aficionados! The Saxon brand has just revived the Richard Lange ‘Pour le Mérite’ in a limited edition of 218 watches. Each will boast a white-gold case, black dial and a black alligator strap. The watch was announced at the brand’s dealer conference in Dresden, though we have a suspicion that this watch was originally intended to be unveiled at the formerly annual Watches & Wonders (now biennial).

If you missed getting the pink-gold and platinum references, this is quite possibly your last chance at this timepiece.

Sistem51 ‘Irony’ hits the Middle East

When Swatch unveiled its Sistem51 at BaselWorld 2013, the brand raised more than a few eyebrows because this was the first watch in the world to feature an entirely automated calibre production process. Swatch took the Sistem51 collection forward earlier this year, when it announced seven new Sistem51 ‘Irony’ references – that was back in July and they’re now finally on sale in the region.

The Sistem51 Irony watches definitely look more up-market than their predecessors.
