Gallery: Photography overkill with MB&F’s incredible Legacy Machine 101

We have a lot of respect for MB&F at Horology Middle East, and within the independent brand’s creative portfolio, the Legacy Machine 101 stands as one of our favorite pieces. We recently had the opportunity to spend some time with the white-gold and rose-golf references, and decided it was the perfect time to go crazy with our camera.

The Legacy Machine 101’s case is comprised of 35 components.

The A. Lange & Söhne Handwerkskunst watches

‘Handwerkskunst’ is the German word for artisanship, and A. Lange & Söhne first introduced watches with this distinction back in 2011. Handwerkskunst watches have dials and movements that are finished with rare and complicated engraving techniques, and are some of the Saxon watchmaker’s most desirable timepieces.

Ever since its rebirth, Lange has taken the watch world by storm. Pictured here is the brand's new manufactory.

Ten of Omega’s most iconic women’s watches

Omega has over a century of rich history with the fairer sex, in fact the brand’s first wristwatch for women went on sale at the start of the 20th century. Since that time Omega has maintained its connection with women around the world, offering delicate, technologically advanced, and attractively designed watches that appealed to every taste and trend, and this is something the brand continues to do today.

Cindy Crawford became Omega’s first brand ambassador back in 1995.

Gallery: Omega’s Vintage lady’s watch adverts

We’re suckers for vintage watches and, believe it or not, have more than a passing interest in the old-school advertisements that brand’s relied on in those days. In fact, if we were to win the lottery, a portion of the winnings would be dedicated to acquiring a select few vintage adverts to adorn the ‘watch room’. Why? Vintage watch adverts and other such memorabilia is cool, and we relish the opportunity to decorate a room with them – it’s as simple as that.
