Christie’s announces new leadership structure

Auction house Christie’s has announced that it will be making changes to its governance structure, which will take effect from January 1, 2017. The 250-year old auction house has appointed Guillaume Cerutti to be its new CEO, based on the recommendation of current CEO Patricia Barbizet, and with the support of the Pinault family. The Pinault family owns Groupe Artémis, a French holding company that owns Christie’s as well as several other entities.
