GPHG 2017 Winners Announced!

The ceremony for the 17th edition of the annual Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève was held on November 8 at the Le Théâtre du Léman in Geneva. This year 15 watches were chosen and honored by a panel of 28 experts from different backgrounds.

Bvlgari and Parmigiani walked away with two prizes each. Well done!

The Grand Prix d’Horlogerie De Genève (GPHG) is one of the most important events in the watchmaking industry, and with the help of 27 experts, honored 14 different watches on November 10. An award was also given to the George Daniels Educational Trust, and the public – by way of the internet – were also given a chance to vote on a separate category.

Dubai Watch Week to take place in October 2015

Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons (AS&S) has partnered with the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) to announce Dubai’s first annual watch event, Dubai Watch Week (DWW). The global event is being held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Chairman of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority.

The first edition of Dubai Watch Week will take place from October 18 to October 22.

2014 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneve Winners

The 2014 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneve Winners, have just been announced with the top prize (‘Aiguille D’or’) going to Breguet’s Classique Chronometrie 7727.

On a yearly basis the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) highlights and rewards high-quality creations, with the aim of nurturing the advancement of the watchmaking art, while also contributing to promoting the watch industry worldwide.
