Fact: Speedmaster enthusiasts are in for a treat this year. Why? Well, the iconic Speedmaster celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2017, and you can bet that Omega is going to give the Speedy the fanfare it so richly deserves. We’re already off to a good start as just a few weeks ago Omega announced the Speedmaster SpeedyTuesday limited edition (our story here), and now there’s this new Speedmaster Moonwatch Automatic Master Chronometer with a racing dial.

Speedmaster enthusiasts are going to be spoiled for choice this year.

Today, January 10, is a very, very special ‘Speedy Tuesday’. Why? Well, earlier today Omega unveiled the Speedmaster Speedy Tuesday limited edition, a watch that celebrates the online global community of #SpeedyTuesday fans, and marks Omega’s first e-tail effort.

Al-Hussaini Trading Co. opens first Omega boutique in Riyadh

Omega’s timepieces have been available in Riyadh for several years but the brand now has its first boutique in the city, thanks to the efforts of Al-Hussaini Trading Co. The new boutique is situated in Panorama Mall, and was officially opened on November 24.

Omega launches the Seamaster Planet Ocean Deep Black

Seamasters have been part of Omega’s collection for decades, and it was 2005 when Omega first added the Planet Ocean watches to the Seamaster roster. Planet Ocean timepieces are designed to be true divers watches and now, just three months after Baselworld, Omega has announced four all new Planet Ocean timepieces.

Omega launches De Ville Prestige Orbis collection

It goes without saying that eyesight is important, and we are delighted that Omega is continuing its support of Orbis International – a non-profit that is dedicated to treating avoidable blindness in remote regions of the world. Omega teases Planet Ocean Master Chronometer

BaselWorld 2016 is still a while off but Omega has already sent word that it will be showing a Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer. This is said to be a lady’s model, and it will feature a 18K Sedna-gold case, and a chocolate-color ceramic bezel and dial.

The Swiss are known for their watches, and for their chocolate. This is most certainly a watch but you also get a chocolate color dial that looks delicious.
